We get so little rain and so much heat that any blade gets destroyed in short order anyway. Generic cheapest blades at Wally World for like $4 a piece and they come as a whole unit. Not worth the hassle or expense in Vegas that's for sure.
I replace the factory inserts once a year here in AZ and it costs me $6.00 per insert MUD price.![]()
Once you replace the blade with aftermarket you cant go back to the factory inserts though....
A little tricky the first time but after installing it once you figure out its not hard to do.
Really, in our environment, brand isn't really crucial, just so you have something to smear the occasional dust/drizzle around, good to go!![]()
Bumping this thread. Are the japanese OEM wipers (now unavailable I assume?) better than whatever Toyota is making that's available now? Is OEM still the best in that case?
The American Toyota made wiper blade came in my 2014 Sienna is still wiping great after 13 months so far in Texas heat. I would say they are pretty good.![]()
