Seriously Try wiping it down with WD40. I read on a hotrod forum a couple of months back. I was hesitant at first and sounds crazy at first but it works. It's not a night and day difference but a lot better than the faded look. It's real simple, give it a good wash first and before you start make sure it's dry. use a roll of paper towels, spray it on a towel wipe it down. Replace your towel as needed. I soaked mine and left like that for several day and then rewashed it. It made a difference.


My 9/76 in its original and very worn 653, Olive Brown. Gotta love that patina, but gotta paint that thing:

My old now my brothers 04/76 the day it came home .. I had even "polished" the passanger door in this pic :lol: years of setting in the south texas sun will do a number on paint for sure

Mine looked like that before it was parked in the weather for 12 years, uncovered. Sold it and bought it back, should have never let it go....
