I'm currently throwing around the idea of selling my E30 next year and picking up a fj60, which I have wanted for many years now.
My favorite color on toyotas is brown/mahogany (my grandmother had a mahogany sv21 camry when I was growing up) and just absolutely love that color. However, I don't think I've ever seen a brown fj60/62. I'd love it if some of you guys could show me yours or other brown cruisers so I could get an idea..

thanks!

there is a brown 60 so i'm sure you'll see some pics soon!

Take a look in the starter thread that is stickied.. In there, there is a color code thread that has everything you need..

I agree, I have always been in love with the tan/beige ones and am trying to save for one (hoping before winter).

Here ya go, Fecal brown 60... Original 28 year old factory paint job & zero rust.

Absolutely get the 60 but don't sell the E30 man! LC for offroad, BMW for on road! I drive 30 miles one way to work so I can't drive the cruiser every daY. I have a 94 325i for DD duties, runs awesome with 220k on the clock. And almost 30mpg. Pics of the classic bimmer please!

Please refer to the color in question as "poo brown". Thanks.

Thanks! It took lots of buffing and polish to restore the original poo.

Who makes that rear bumper?

A fella named AJ from "bent up" built it for me. He had a shop here in Sac, CA that closed a few years back.:frown:

Two tones can be nice as well. Mine was all beige when I bought it. I had it sprayed two tone. The bottom color is called Chestnut and is a Ford color. Looks really nice IMO.

Like poo that has dried on top. J/K. I really like that! When my original paint eventually gets to thin on the top I will most likely do exactly what you did!

Here's my Granny drivin', barn find, NEVER winter drivin', never seen rain POO Cruiser...

Aint she mint....

it's hard to see where the cruiser stops and the rust starts:doh:

Not Brown anymore. I had it resprayed in Dune Beige (Much better color)
