Want to really emphasize how much I LOVE this mount! Been a month. FLAWLESS. The base rotates left and right. It is really a perfect mount if you use MagSafe.
If I have a big defender case on my phone will this mag safe still work or does the case need to be taken off the phone?

Bringing this back from the dead. How are you guys running cables for charging? My 2018 LX lands tomorrow and I hate visible cables more than just about anything. Also trying to figure out if there's a decent place to stick a mount on the 16+ LX or if I should go with a vent mount.

Check out my AC mount on 1st page. It is better than what you have. Lower profile. It is just a ring of magnets...so you have air circulation directly into MOST of the back of phone. In addition, with how i mount it...the lower part of the vent is unobstructed...so i still get air from those vents.

I got sick of having my phone slammed into a cupholder or the slot on the 3D printed cupholder replacement

I got sick of having my phone in a cupholder or the phone slot for the 3D printed cupholder replacement...more sick of it being upside down when charging. I bought two of these based on your posts, they work great. My car has horizontal vent slats and the LX, obviously vertical, this Vicseed works great for both.

Another vote for the Quad Lock, I have mine down near my knee, out of the way. Wireless charge / magnetic attachment, and the USB connection is right there for the 2016 LX570! Neat and super functional.

How do you like the ProClip? I was thinking of ordering one

I had a ProClip center dash mount for my 2008 for about 18 months. It worked great, until it didn't. It did block easy access to the driver side temperature control button, but the placement of the smartphone was ideal so I dealt with it. Apparently the dash moulding that secured the lower mounting lip of the ProClip got compromised (not sure if it's age or a mounting clip cracked), but now it doesn't hold the ProClip securely. I'm looking for other options...

My first contribution! Took some suggestions from the forum. I wanted something that looked like it belonged to the vehicle. Something that fit but looked robust. I purchased a RAM® TOUGH-TRACK™ - 7" TRACK FOR 1 3/4" - 2" RAILS - RAP-TRACK-B7HU. The base is made out a hard plastic. I removed the dash speaker grill, covered it in tape and taped 60 grit sand disc in it. Then ground the base down until it followed the contour of the grill. Centered the mount and measured 3/4” from the edge of the grill. Drilled 1/4” holes, but first drilled small pilot holes and slow drill speed. Bought 1/4” diameter bolts 1 3/4” long, and 1” diameter washers and locking nuts, chose stainless steel just because. The holes were drilled as near to each edge of the stain the base. Then righted them. Fits perfectly and seems solid.

One thing I noticed w the magnetic phone holder, is it latched on pretty decent to the speaker grill. Seriously thought about using it as the mount but by the time I added some padding to it, think it would have weakened its connection to the grill. But, could be a good option for someone to consider.

It shouldn't be this difficult to find a good place to hold an iPhone. My windshield suction mount falls off when the arm is extended to where it's needed.

So I've been reduced to this.

Where are you mounting your phone in your 200?

@nakman ?
Go to Pro Clip USA. Best mounts I’ve ever seen

Ok. Just found I think the PERFECT Mount:

LISEN for MagSafe Car Mount, Magnetic Phone Holder for Car, Hands Free iPhone Car Holder Mount Dash Phone Mount for Car Fit for iPhone 15 14 13 12 Pro Max Plus Mini MagSafe Cases https://a.co/d/aVBHvAR

Will see how it holds over time with the 3M tape.

Does not block the AC vent much with phone mounted yet still getting some ventilation from it. Does not block the big display/screen much at all… so rear view camera still good with phone mounted. The mounting base also swivels left and right.
Sorry just to emphasized again...BEST mount EVER. In fact, in my new truck, I bought one too. NOTHING in this thread is as good (as long as you have a MagSafe phone/case).
