So for aweek ive been tinkering with my landcruiser and have gotten a few things done but the thing i didn't feel like doing was this phh for reasons known to all of us its simply a pain in the ass. After doing some research on the forum to see whos done what and how i got a little discouraged and decided to take it to John over at SD TRUX off miramar rd. Well that was the best idea i could of had, resonable prices fast service and a pretty cool guy. I will be taking my cruiser back to him for what ever else i cannot handle. Highly recommended

What are they charging for that? PM me if you don't want to say publicly. It might be worth taking a long lunch from work.

I did mine myself in about 30 minutes too. Nothing really hard about it. Not sure why people think this is such a pain in the ass. Compared to other maintenance projects this is a 1/2  job. Just get in there and knock it out. You will really be surprised how this is not a big deal. Sure you will get in some weird hand positions and curse a little but I do that anytime a turn a wrench on my vehicles. :meh:

I agree, not a big deal. First time I did it there was a learning curve, but once I figured out the tricks it was straightforward. I documented by experiences around here somewhere.

yeah getting mixed reviews some say its not that bad some say it was an all day thing. oh well its done and im happy.what do u guys know about the castor correction bushings any good tricks on them???/

Dropping the starter helped. Took the advice of sdnative and while in there, swapped fuel filter and starter contacts.
