I know Hickey is still registered and being used ... often wondered about the conferr
Update. I do not know this for a fact, but I believe that Smittybilt now has it.

To this day, I have a cartoon hanging up in my office that your grandmother gave me. My office is five blocks from the old Front Street location. I was just telling @kevos37 last week about when your grandfather sold the property to the city for the Metro Station.
I’d be happy to meet you sometime after Thanksgiving; I’m kinda swamped right now. I’m not hard to find:

Scrolling through my picture gallery, I found a pic of that cartoon:

I had done a trademark search and it looks like it was last registered in 08?

however they did use several designs for their logo and i didnt check each... maybe they retained the name and not the logos?

I've still got my original Con-Ferr catalog from the early 90s. Still on my 40 today is their front tool box, shackes, u-bolt skid plates, auxiliary gas tank, trailer hitch, and folding rear seat. I pulled the rear folding seat years ago but still have it. I used to have their grill guard and brush guard, but pulled those and sold them to a really nice guy I met at Mark's Off Road way back in the day.

annie has the front framehorn box also. can't remember if there's still a sticker on top. there used to be, but weather may have made it go away

During our current phase of remodeling I discovered another box of papers that had some VERY old issues of Four Wheeler in it. Check out this ad from 1965:

Found this thread down a rabbit hole on SoCal off-road history. Had no idea they were a dealership that did engine swaps on brand new 40s! Any and all stories would be cool to hear!

EDIT - also this thread seems like it's in an odd spot. Have no feedback on where it should go, though. Carry on.
