I need to replace the axle assemblies to hopefully get rid of the clunk in the front end - where do you guys buy your parts please?

as mentioned above Cruiser Outfitters probably has what you are looking for. I also use Oursman (Formerly McGeorge) Toyota mainly because I live in Richmond where they are located and shipping is pretty quick. I also like Partsouq. There are several others around the country that have good reputations as well. Do as TM says above and you will see others.
I ordered from CruiserTeq/ outfitters. Perhaps you also want to swap in new flanges, cone washer and perhaps a new dust cap ($2.75...) while you're on it. For sure get the C-clip pack (for me: FAWB9807KIT) to you have the right fit and a new one.
Before going deep into CVs: I also have a clunk and found that my diff bushings are shot. Perhaps you want to have someone sitting in the car, shifting from P to R and see if your diff is moving before spending $700 on a CV...
