Any change to the parts list in post #1 given the back and forth about bushings and cushions? I'm getting ready to place an order with Cruiser Dan and have this done to my rig.

Thanks for the post Rob.

Up on my list of updates!

If your suspension is lifted, I'd forego these rear links and get those 80 series extended links from MAF or whoever else offers them.

Sway Bar Links
qty 2x
48802-60090

I'm trying to track these down, any idea what the part number is?

I was looking through the MAF website to find the links but don't know what i'm looking for.

They were on the maf website about a week ago and now I can't seem to find them.

MAF PN "48802-80RRLKIT" and use the OEM rubber bushings rather than the ones that come with the MAF kit.

It's just a preference. Both types will work fine.

Do OEM sway bar bushings require any type grease before installing?

About 1.75" longer than stock.

Any on road difference in handling or body lean/sway?

I personally rebuilt SO many things at the time I added these it is hard to say what made a difference....

So you think you have a "rust-free" truck???

Maybe it was just mine?, but the bolts that hold the ASB bushings to the frame mounts go into captured nuts. On the passenger's side, the AC must drip close to there? One of mine was siezed/rusted in and snapped with very little effort. Had to drill and re-tap. Pre-soak these if you can.

Mine broke on the ds. Had to pull the tbar to fix....sucks when things like that happen.

Just ordered all my parts for this. I got everything from Onur except the links from MAF. Hopefully this will solve some of my old wooden boat noises...

RobRed, this is a great thread and parts list. It came in very handy when I needed one bolt/spacer to finish the job. Thanks for putting this together.

I would spend the few extra dollars and get all the bolts and spacers you MAY need. My rear PS sway bar bolt was totally seized to the spacer so the link would not come out. I had to cut the bolt on both sides inside the "U" of the link. The bolt would spin free but it wouldn't move at all. The spacer was keeping the bolt from sliding out past the sway bar link so I had to cut both sides to free the link.

My rig has spent it's whole life in Colorado and rust has never been as issue. I didn't even see any rust on the bolt that I cut, but that thing was seized up tight!

Old and new....

About to refurb my rear sway bars (thanks Onur) and I sure hope I don't have the problem above. I have already welded the driver side bracket to the frame after I sheared the upper bolt flush with the frame (and then proceeded to break the bolt extractor too).

I am going to be replacing my CVs shortly and noticed that my link bushings are shot. Figured I would replace all of the sway bar bushings while I am at it. Are there any other options besides OEM? What is the cost to replace all the bushings?
