oxygen sensor "extender" for LC100 - rear sensor for bank one

I ordered these from Amazon: Amazon.com: Universal O2 Sensor Spacer Adapter Isolator (Pack of 2): Automotive and my mechanic said that I need one with a flange for 04 Landcruiser rear O2 sensor.

Was anybody able to find one with a flange which would fit rear O2 sensor for bank 1?

What are those adapters for? This is all you need for the rear O2 sensor on an '04:

These should get rid of P420 error. Only one of them actually.

Interesting. So just replacing the O2 sensors didn't work for you?

replaced the front O2s, error does not show O2 sensor being bad. Seems like putting extender makes P420 error go away. Much cheaper than replacing O2 sensor. And definitely than CAT replacement

If you can't find the extenders with the flanges for sealing to the exhaust, just replace the O2 sensor. For $46 and the same amount of labor, I think that will keep the code from coming back after you clear it. The cats are tough and very rarely go bad. The O2 sensors can trigger seemingly unrelated codes if they go bad.

Not yet. I've welded in some high flow Cats and just left the original DS sensors in place. Hasn't thrown a code yet, when it does ill install these. not looking forward to it as the studs are very ordinary
