Hey everyone! Thanks for posting photos and great feedback.
I've been in the ordering phase to crank out another batch of lights and tonight hit a huge bump. The manufacturer of the light themselves just informed me, a week after placing my order, that they discontinued manufacturing that specific light.
That leaves me in a tight spot since my brackets are specifically designed for that light. Im kind of in panic mode at the moment, but I plan to test some other lights and hopefully find something at least equally good.
I understand people may not want to wait, and that's fair. I do have the factory connectors on sale on my website for anyone who wants to take on mounting lights themselves without cutting up their wiring.
I hope to be able to update soon!

They're plenty bright. Assuming the supplier end is sorted, making them amber would be as easy as just applying a film.

I got some new lights and tested them out briefly. I'm pretty impressed with their build and output. I designed some new brackets as well and already sent them off to be laser cut.
The lights are a bit cheaper and smaller which makes the brackets also smaller. Overall, I think I will be able to reduce the price a few 10s of dollars. I suspect that should make some happy.
As soon as I build the first full set and test them out, I will start taking orders. I'll likely have everyone pay in full with the understanding that they may take a week or two to build.

Got the first set built with the new light/bracket. They came out nicely. They are about 75%-80% the brightness of the previous sets. The brackets are all the same now, so that will help drive cost down.
I'm hoping these changes will reduce the price by $20 or more. I may reduce the price of the plug and play kit and increase the cost of the relay kit as it takes me a crap ton of time to build.

How blue is the light in person? Is there an neutral white option? I'd be in for a set!
I have an idea for something similar, but I'd rather do something myself (budget). If you can, do you mind sharing where you sourced the connector for the running boards?
