Now I’m confused. Do I need to remove the running boards to plug these lights in? Was hoping to keep my running boards.

You don't have to. You will have to unplug the light on them to instead power these lights.

Thanks man! I got lucky and hit 0 snags this time. Something usually goes wrong (soldering iron breaks, heat gun breaks, run out of wiring, etc.) Which delays me a lot.

Felt good to finally have everything go as planned.
