Got mine installed and they worked great for a day. Got in the car this afternoon and looks like a fuse went out because the lights, my remote fob and garage door opener aren't working. Do these draw more amps than factory? Anyone know what fuse on a 2007 LX would control running board lights, key fob, and garage remote?

Update, found the fuse 10a. replaced it and it blew right away. Unplugged the new lights and put a new fuse withought reconnecting the owl lights and now everything is working fine (sans puddle lights) These were the plug and play LX version. Any suggestions? Again worked great for one day and now is blowing the fuse right away. Looks like this fuse is controlling interior lights, remote keyless entry, garage door opener etc. Too overloaded?

Rami,

What updates were made? I have compared what is currently on the website with what I downloaded a few weeks back and I don’t see any difference. I downloaded from a different device in case it was a cache issue. Maybe it is a minor update and I am missing it.

Thanks!

It was just clarifying the wire connections on the relay kit.

Sorry this happened! Just got your message. Seems maybe you have a short in one of the lights or wires. It got to either be a faulty light or bad heatshrink tubing.

I'll answer your PM to get this resolved.

I realize I'm a little late to the party, but am interested in a set of these. What's the chance on doing another run?

Pretty high. I'm having some issues with relays at the moment (or at least I hope thats the issue) but once its all resolved, I plan to start working on a preorder/deposit system to do 10 sets at a time.

Posted in the “what have you done...” thread but wanted to add this here, too. The lights and overall workmanship of these lights is fantastic. I love them.

Still loving mine and I get a lot of compliments on them as well, especially from passengers if we're approaching the truck. I posted this in the "What have you done" thread also but I recently put them to good use to make myself visible on the side of the interstate when one of my buddies had a flat tire.

Rami did you ever get that relay issue figured out? I can send more pics if needed.

I did! It turned out to be a bad batch of relays. I've only had one customer have the issue, but if anyone else out there is having the lights not turn off when the doors lock, let me know and I'll get you a new relay.

Love the photo and appreciate all the help! The 100 series probably would't be an option without your willingness to guinea pig.

Because of my one man side-job operation, ive decided to do a deposit to try and help offset the upfront cost and uncertainty of sales. The way this will work is: you pay $50-70 now depending on the configuration. Once I have 10 orders, I will begin building the kits. You then will owe the remaining balance ($125) when the kits are ready to ship. I will obviously refund anyone if they decide they don't want the kit before it ships.

This is live now and there are 10 available:

Awesome! Wonderful work on an incredibly useful mod. Just put a deposit down.

And just to make sure I did this right, the “LX kit with relay” is a plug and play kit with the option to relay to an internal switch to run rock lights manually, correct?

Yup! So you can use the kit as plug and play and just store the relay kit for another day. Thanks for the deposit!

I flaked and completely forgot about this after saying I wanted one in the last batch (Sept.?)... just made a deposit. Thanks for undertaking this, these lights are so cool.

I bought the kit on the last round without the relay thinking it was only needed for LC's that don't have the existing puddle light wiring. Can I purchase the relay kit separately? I would like to have the option to keep these lights on when on the trail.

I'll keep you in mind when building the next set. I should have enough relays to build an extra relay pack. I'll probably have to charge you a bit extra for shipping, so like $24 instead of $20

Sounds good to me. Just let me know when to send the $.
