With Eric's steel wheel thread I got looking at what all is available out there. Noticed these wheels in the new Overland, they look pretty good. Not steel like Henry and Eric were looking for, but touted as being pretty strong.

I've seen these but couldn't find the weight nor offset. Not a big fan of their syling but they do come in a 7" width for those who want to run 255/85-16's

Yeah, narrower than I'd like. I PC'd my 80 wheels, $50 ea., so that's a lot cheaper than new wheels.

And the Simex tires would be nice too . . . .

anyone able to find out the offset of these wheels yet? If they can be run without spacers on lifted trucks, i think it would be better. They look as if they stick out wider then the stockers which is a plus.

i wonder how fast till this thread is locked? lol.

Has anyone contacted either the wheel manf or VTO performance and checked the availability of 16x8 for the 100s?

Uh, no you wouldn't...They are from a little company called Jaos and we all know their quality...

His wallet wouldn't like it either.

I'm not set on having steel. I love a little shiny stuff. What I'm up against is the spacers. $199/pair is a ridiculous amount of money to spend on spacers. It would be over $400 with shipping to get a set of 4. For that much, I'd prefer to get different wheels with the correct backspacing for my lift and 315s. Henry is the one who is wanting steel. He can't lose his expedition roots. And since ordering just a few costs a lot more than ordering a bunch I jumped in on that. Unfortunately, I jumped in prior to having the 100 home and didn't realize that the steel wheels couldn't be made. I'm almost at the point of just saying screw it and going back to smaller tires for a couple of years and then putting in a solid front axle.
