TX-1 Offroad Wheels - different sizes

I'm going to order a few sets of TX-1 wheels from Australia. Formerly known as Outback TX-1

Available in a wide variety of sizes and applications, tubeless performance industrial wheels are lighter than conventional steel wheels, won't rust and are load tested (3086lbs per rim) to provide maximum rugged durability

These are the available spec so far, but if you are interested in other sizes and bolt pattern, let me know and I'll ask the factory

They are available in white, silver and black

15x7
6 on 139.7mm
-4mm offset
8.6kg
67mm to 108mm hub bore

16x6
6 on 139.7mm
-6mm offset
8.8 kg
67 to 108mm hub bore

16x7
6 on 139.7mm
-4mm and +4mm offset
9.07kg
67 to 108mm hub bore

Edit: Additional sizes
14x6 (+8mm offset)
15x10 (-52mm offset)
16x8 (+3mm / -7mm / +20mm offset)
16x10 (-27mm offset)
17x8 (+3mm offset)

The rims itself are actually not that expensive, but obviously the shipping from Australia is not cheap. It depends how many people are interested. 4 rims including shipping (to Vancouver, BC) are about $750 - $900

Let me know if you want one too.

I saw these rims a couple of years ago and they are my favorite rims, bar none. If I only had the dough.

Didn't a company called VTO performance import a crap load of these and then ended up clearing them out on ebay? Staun bought into them and now offers them as well 4wd Accessories Australia. Just thought, I loved em but the backspacing wasn't enough IIRC.

VTO does not have them anymore. All gone.
Staun Australia apparently shut their doors, so nothing from them either.
At the moment there are just two places to get this kind of rims. One is in Australia and the other one is in France.

To make it worth to order from Australia, I actually need just one more person who orders a set. If we can get 4+ more people, the price for shipping would go down a bit again.

Hmmm, then how much would it be to ship them from BC to FL, I would of course want you to muddy them up and all so they have that nice used look. Customs loves that sort of stuff.

I'm interested in a set for my 80. Possibly the 16x7. Do they have 17s in the 80 6x bolt pattern? I'm looking to go a little taller and skinnier than stock since I'm going to be running w/o flares.

Are they US DOT legal and all that?

quantity of 5 16x7 for a 60 series.

Interested in price and eta with shipping to TN.

Thanks,

John

did you ever get these?? I saw this thread too late!!

How do you convert an offset to a backspace measurement?

Offset is the offset from midline of width....so a negative offset means it is more to the back and a positive keeps the rim under your fenders more!!!!??? so midline on an 8 inch rim is 4inches. so subtract or add the offset to determine the backspacing.....if that makes sense.:bang:
