The earlier one…that would have been stock on a 6/74…has the clips that loop and get bent over at the ends. Goes with the stamped fork. The later has the clips that just pop in. Goes with the cast fork.

Of course after 50 years, it’s anyone’s guess whether the original parts are still in there.

Perhaps the OP could post a pic of his fork.

You might want to see how deep the divets are in the hub. They are flat when they are new.

Price is reasonable
My recollection of what the original looked like is gone.
So hopefully this one is a correct replacement shape and in serviceable shape.

Funny thing karma is. I found an extra one on the floor of the shop a few days ago. I also thought that this matter was settled, so I didn’t bother posting.
The divets on mine are minimal compared.
