Had to pull the hub back off today since I failed to notice this seal sitting in my box of knuckle rebuild stuff. It doesn't show this seal in the FSM. Doh!

Yes Dan, it looks great all buttoned up. I wish the calipers were red, but just happy to be done. Now to remove the residual valve and install the prop valve. I just sold my wheels and tires! Discount tire called and said my 5 BFG mud terrains arrived. Waiting on the wheels to return from powder coating. I sure hope that they fit ok with the new disks. They appear to be the welded 15inch wheels and not the riveted type, so should be good to go. Would have been nice to test fit to get that warm and fuzzy before I sent them off to powder.

Took it for the inaugural drive today after nearly 4 years of being in pieces. What happened to the time? I initially thought 3-6 months for the build. Ha! Brakes worked great, but it feels like I might need to install the proportioning valve. A few photos

I started bolting down the Jackson cage with the frame tie ins. I made some rubber gaskets out of shower pan liner from HD. The floor isn't flat so it won't do much in the way of keeping water out, but a bit more of a cushion and damper for vibration since the floor is pretty thin there. It's been raptor lined on both sides, but this gives me a warm fuzzy feeling.

While I was bolting down the cage I got a phone call that the wheels had returned from PC. Now I am sitting at discount tire waiting for the BFG KM2 33x10.5xr15 to be mounted. More pics when it's done. The best interruption to working in the cruiser one could have. :)
