For those of y'all driving highway 177 be aware of two construction projects - one by the Ray Mine and one at the 177 / 77 junction in Winkelman.

1. State Route 177 bridge project between Superior, Kearny to begin Jan. 6
Motorists along State Route 177 at Mineral Creek between Superior and Kearny should expect delays starting as soon as Monday, Jan. 6, when a bridge rehabilitation project begins.
Work includes a new concrete overlay, guardrail repairs and scour protection beneath the bridge.
The project is scheduled to last just over three months, ending in April.
Traffic will be restricted to a single lane in alternating directions, at times, using flaggers.
Vehicles should proceed through the work zone with caution, slow down and watch for construction personnel and equipment.
For more information, please visit the project website.

Oh great, another delay. :frown: I go through daily and nothing yet. Maybe I can keep you all up to date when they start work.

As far as the bridge at Winkleman, it's fast to get trough, I have had only one instance when crossing with the green light and had to back up another driver coming the other way. Usually go through at 2 am and blame it on a "Last Call for Alcohol" dummy.

I am unable to get out of some Saturday morning commitments. I'll meet up with you guys on the backside. I need a night of campfire.

FYI on the forecast. Gunna be nippy.

I also have two heaping wheel barrows of wood already split so we may not need the chain saw ;)

I changed the oil in my 80 today, greased the drive shafts, installed new muffler bearings and it should be ready to load up. Then my kids tell me they want to take the 40 instead. Decisions!

Hey, for those who would like to take 177 from Superior, the road is golden, only the small delay at the Winkleman bridge.
No sign at the Ray mine bridge yet.
Have fun y'all, enjoy. I'll keep an eye for cruisers, if a big red truck honks, it's me.

So one buddy got sent to Canada for work, and the other tore his bicep moving some furniture. That means it is just me now. I am still planning to be at gun range at 8am, and rolling on trail at 9am. Hope to see a ton of you there. If you have any questions, drop me a line on my cell, 501-772-6109, before, and on the club frequency day of.....I think it is 146.460Mhz.............I'll get corrected if thats wrong.

We have at least five trucks coming from the valley. Some planning to camp Friday and Saturday. Alvis, Cowboy Steve, me, Abigail, Ron and possibly Brice.
