There are three different bolt on tail light brackets. 61-63, 64-early 69 and early 69-73. 64-early 69 besides the NLA bracket they have a molded housing that protects the back of the light. Haven't checked in a while but the lights themselves were still available.

Any ideas of a substitute for the NLA moulded housing on such early taillights? It won't show (much) but some form of protection seems necessary.
