That 6.0 is a great motor... perfect bridge between the 5.3 and 8.1

One of our fleet trucks had 398k on one.

So you did end up getting it... nice dude... LS at the same time or keep the 350?

Kept the 5.7L. This was the most expensive route in the long run, but at the pace of the project, the only route. In different (ideal) circumstances, I would have pulled the engine/trans from a Suburban or Escalade, still gotten the tail housing adapter and used our NP208.

Hit up the local meet yesterday. Had a restaurant close for us, great traditional Italian pizza and wonderful beer. The Rally car did it's best to blend in and just hoped no one realized it wasnt a cruiser.

5.3 swapped 60.... engine and trans straight from the junkyard and into the 60.... cheap, easy and now in the owners words better in every way.
