Very cool :)

Yeah. @forrest5000 doesn't want it so I'm trying to convince my parents to let it sit in their garage and my brother and I can learn all things automotive with it. Need to buy a welder and learn how to use it. Need to buy a blast booth and powdercoating oven and learn how to fix all the trim items. Need to learn bodywork and build a paint booth in their other garage stall and learn how to spray paint.

Kind of seems like a fun undertaking.

When did I say I didn't want it ?

I am sitting here doing some paper work listening to the Today show in the back ground. They are talking about all kinds of Turkey day food tips. I keep hearing something over and over.

"Do this or that and when done just throw it all away." A bunch of different things all intended to save time on clean up. I thought that as a society we were trying to reduce the amount of trash we produce......

I hear you there - my in-laws have gone this route the last couple of years - no longer use plates/glasses for anything. They just buy plastic plates and cups and toss them all...... so weird and odd to me.

Spartanburg County no longer accepts GLASS at the recycle centers. Not enough money in it.

Most recycling centers are running on a deficit, so either the communities decide to pay for recycling operations or it all goes to landfills. Chinese metals and glass are cheaper than recycled, and it is a pure market driven pricing. In Mecklenburg county, fee increases in solid waste are added to continue recycling. I think is in the range of $0.40 per household per month. Small, but politicians fight those increases unless the people speak up and demand recycling.

Just a bummer Izzy, no way my county will pay to recycle.

While I love the LS430 and I plan to actually keep this one until the wheels fall off, my two complaints on it are minor. No manual.... although that was a selling point for Andrea with the traffic around here. And while 290HP/320ft/lbs is nice for what it is that is also a little under what I consider acceptable for a car of that size..... so then I found this on my lexus forums, and the gears got spinning again. But I promised my financial side that I would wait until we buy another house and the 6bt goes in the suburban.

Worlds first LSx 6sp LS430 (I think?) - Club Lexus Forums

Really though I just need to drive the LS to the tuners in LA and have them rework the lexus engine, to 400+ HP and still have it lexus smooth.

FU Nico, you pompous biatch!
