Geez... So I just got a call from my bank. Some guy who tells me that he needs to verify the amount of a check I wrote to Daniel Wxxx, so he can cash it. I didn't write a check to Daniel Wxxx. I wrote it to Dan Nxxx, the way he requested I write it. So I ask him to repeat 'to whom?'. Again, he says Daniel Wxxx. I tell him I have no clue who that person is. He again says Daniel Wxxx. I repeat that I don't know that person (but I secretly have a guess that it's the only person I've written a check to in 4 months). So, the third time I ask for the check holders name the teller says Daniel Wxxx Nxxx.
Now, what the hell was so hard about giving me the name that I made the check out to instead of the name on his ID? Why would this idiot have neglected to include the persons last name? Kinda important, right? I bet he tells his friends that he's a banker, just like an idiot relative I have who works in IT for a bank. Rant over.
