I have a 78 FJ40 and the timing cover started to leak. The oil pan gasket has been leaking for a long time but I have been able to wipe it clean and it was good for another year. But the leaks are too big now. I bought a oil pan gasket a long time ago and I discover it is a four piece gasket. Does any one make a one piece gasket?

I second going with Kurt’s company @cruiseroutfit for your parts as posted above … very reputable vendor and member here

Also @Poser has a good thread on using … thread :meh: for the install here:

I just picked up a new pan and one piece gasket from Cruiser Outfitters in Utah. I gave them a call to make sure I was ordering the right part and they were very helpful. It just arrived and appears to be excellent quality but time will tell. Pricey but couldn't justify paying a welder to figure out which spot weld was busted or where the leak was between the pan and skid plate. Good luck!
