Ok, so I've gone through the forums, read over everything and looked at as many pictures as possible. I think I've got this figured out, but considering the stakes involved in f-ing this up, I have a question and a revised diagram.

The question: I leave this section alone that I've added back into the diagram that was previously posted, right?

Backstory, I bought a '97 40th in Ohio, where the salt rusted those stupid hoses above the exhaust. No problems until I dragged a Uhaul trailer to New Mexico, where I got home from my 3rd day of work to a 'hissing' sound. Yup, that's coolant spraying onto the exhaust. Cool. Been filling the radiator up with coolant as needed since, but after a trip to the store this weekend - when two people bothered to tell me how bad it was spraying everywhere, this ish is getting fixed. Sidenote, thank the car gods for sparking my nerd and convincing me to get a BlueDriver OBDII dongle. Have been able to monitor engine temp very accurately and hopefully avoid a head gasket issue.

Um. I think thats an arrow youve drawn? Lol

If so that points to the egr pipe and yes it stays. (It can be replaced/bypassed with one long piece of heater hose but not necessary-- this would include a PHH fix at same time) That drawing before editing is a perfect resource and the thread it came for should have a finished product pic as well.

The only hardline removed per that drawing is this one. The one that has the dead end plug and goes T's to driver side rear line

Thank you for confirming that! I figured that was the case, but just wanted to be sure before I started hacking things up.

Arrow + bracket = arrowbracket. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

One last Q: Should I wrap the passenger side replacement hose in a heat shield wrap? Or is that overkill?
