I've been trying to find some old school style tires for my 55. I would really like to put some 1970's looking tires on it but can't seem to find anything. I know they are out there, I just saw a restored Willys wagon the other day with brand new tires, but they were very old school looking. I wish I could have asked him where he got them or the brand, but it was driving down the road.

Anyone know a brand or type of tire I can get that has that cool old school look?

Swamper TSL Radials in 31x9.5 look pretty cool.

X2 on Coker... They deal in original factory style tires for restorations. You can get radial tires that look like the old bias ply. They even have period correct tread patters for most antique and muscle cars. I think they to wheels to. I want to say I remember a wooden spoke wheel and tire combo from an ad on Power Block on Spike TV.

Sweet. Just checked and the STA Super Traxions are what is one it now and I loved them. They are just rotten as hell and wanted to replace them but couldn't read what brand or size they were due to how cracked and messed up they are.

Perfect. Not a bad price either. Thanks again for the info.

Here is a pic of my factory spare.

Its a Reynolds Winter Tire H78-15 M/S Load Range B Whitewall.

Obviously quite a bit of dry-rot, but super cool. I looked for some old school tires for a while but didnt want a bias ply so options were limited. I almost went with some of those Deestones because they matched pretty closely, but I ended up putting on some 30x9.50 BFG ATs.
