Same problem only worse with the three burner stoves. You need to pump them up more often, do the main cooking on the center burner and use the other (two) to keep stuff warm or for stuff that requires less heat.

I have a cast iron griddle that covers two burners, great for breakfast. Cook hash browns then move them off to the cooler side and start eggs. Or cook pancakes and stack them on the cooler side to keep warm until they are all done. Coffee stays warm on the third burner.


Why am I so hungery all of the sudden?:D

Just making sure I am reading you correct, you used a propane converter on an old Coleman and it didn't work too well? Then you went with a propane stove that was built for propane?
