the model year runs from 9 or 10 of the previous year to 8 or so of the current year. so your 11/73 is very much a 1974 model year cruiser.

Here's my 82 before I started going through it. The bezel is not properly white.

Only had one so far ---this is summer configuration ( have all the doors etc. just too lazy to change back and forth ---here in Cali. winter is only 3-4 months so what is the point)-- even those white spokes and fender flares were dealer added --drove it off the lot pretty much like it is ( yes it has been repainted )
