Spartan,

I have a big block in my 1971 FJ55 landcruiser

Marks 4WD in Australia has a 454BB in an 80 series a couple of years ago - don't know if they still own it.

I wouldn't put a BB in an 80 in the US due to the price of gas! and / or less than 10 miles to the gallon:D .

You got a big block in an 80????????

Thats comparing apples to oranges!

On the other hand - my CBRXX Honda would dust that hunk of steel - not to mention just about every other vehicle on earth....70 MPH in first gear...LOL

I think that Doug and I do pretty well with our "princess" mobiles. In fact, I've seen few 80's better equipped (maybe Robbie's and a few others). I remember when Cruiserdan and I ran Kane creek last year, I belive his 80 and my LX450 were the only 80 version cruisers that didn't take a bypass in one place. Several 80's went around if I recall.

You only did that in order to drag your rear bumper ends off so you could get a Slee rear past the treasurer.......;)

Ah - you mean the little candy ass people who think that a Lexus badge is worth $5,000. I got it....LOL

BTW - an early 70's El Camino with a posi rear will lay rubber for approximately 45 to 50 yards with the 4 bolt main small block. I am not aware of any LC products that will do this.

Any stock 80...

...with a dragging spare:flipoff2: .
