Crank spec is 304#

Seems large torque wrenches only come in one flavor once you get past the 250# models - 600#....

I believe Snap-on makes a 350 foot pound. try E-bay

Not sure about the newer models but my older Snap-On goes to 300#. Not much differance between 300 and 304#. At 300# you will have to use leg muscles against the frame along with flexing the guns. Just don't slip off!

I don't wanna buy one - I have a 250# unit. I just wanna use it for a day to bust a gut on this crank nut. I've never seen a 300# unit.

A guy we know who works on dozers and stuff was kind enough to let us borrow his 600# Snap-on for a couple of days. Evidently they go for about $350. You should see the size of the thing and the breaker bar that comes with it.

I can't wait to hang my 230# ass on it and wait for the clicks. My wrenching buddy and $20 says I can't do it first try - we'll see in the morning. I think I can pump it first try.

Got rained out today. We're working inside, but I hate laying in the cold water that drains off the truck.
