Tie rod. the rear-most one. Don't need the ends, just the rod itself. i have need rod ends, so don't care the condition as long as the threads are not ripped apart like mine is.

thanks,
Jon

and if you decide to go locker, I have a complete e-locker rear axle w harness out of a '94

Mike

Thanks for the offer.

oh yeah. sorry. yup 94 fzj80.
not even sure HOW the metal peels back where the threads are...

I have a good starter and 2 master cyl (cores) for FJ40 in my garage that will likely head to the junkyard soon.

Sold my business last week and put the house on the market. Moving to southern NH this Spring. Stuffs gotta go and no cruiser money in the foreseeable future

Come n get it before they become soda cans.

Soda cans are aluminum these days and 10 pounds are worth $4.80 at the scrapper.

Hope all goes well for you otherwise.

Minor rust and needs some restoration. Can deliver within 100 miles for free and only another $1 a mile after that. Trailer and trailer tires included. :hillbilly:

Got #1 unprepped for it today at the scrapper. 1300 pounds = $146. Puts me close to $650 and I still have plenty of sellable parts left.

I'm considering pulling the axles apart. Who needs spare axles, hubs, birfields, and/or other parts?

Hey...I figured you would go this route...it does make sense.

Um...I would be interested in the hubs if they are in good shape. Let me know.

i didn't check with him. i did find that i can get a slee for $110. a budbuilt for $100, a IPOR for $129. so i think i may go new HD. all i saw originally was SOR's @ $150 / and a special order part, and i am not too keen on their special order shipping prices...
if i can get a new that cheap, i might just do it all new stuff up front.

cool, thanks for the tip. that one is right in line price wise with the others, so thats where i will spend the $$
thanks

You flip jobs like you flip Cruisers! Whats up next?

Heading to NH to do the same thing with the same company in Hillsboro county. Should be good! Looking forward to reducing my bills drastically as well

Live free or die! Good luck with your future endeavors.

No cord, no sale.

how are would it be to source a cord? $500 +/- cheaper than buying a new one... might make it worth it...
