Rick,

I need to rebuild the deck on my house and can definitely use the material. Is this is basically a DIY disassembly project and when will you be closing down the pool?

Larry

I can help you take it down but you'll have to take ALL of it.You can have it anytime after the end of August.

Sounds good to me. Can you PM me a couple pix so I can get an idea as the physical size and how many hauling vehicles I will need?

I'm heading out to Buffalo NY tomorrow for a week. Email me your address and I'll get picks to you at the end of the week

There is some serious lumber in this thing. I'm guessing 26 2x8x14s, 100 ballisters, 12 2x6x12s, 80 ln ft 2x6 hand railing, 400 sqft 5/4 decking and a bunch of 2x4s and 4x4s.

The main deck is 12x28 and the walk around is 2ft wide

A very good size trailer would be the ticket to moving it out of here.

It was about 1800.00 in lumber when we built it.

PERFECT & definitely in on this! What are you doing with the pool?

I am selling my Chebby P/U in parts. Chevy, Chevrolet, GMC, whatever. Plow, cab, frame, drivetrain, body parts etc. It's a 1985, but most of the parts are the same from 1983 thru 1987. I promised the 350 tranny and 350 motor to Lane if he wants them, so he gets first dibs.

Ok I missed the part why? That is a beautiful pool.

the pool is 22 years old, has a large tear in the liner that I half assd patched, the aluminum side wall has dozens of perforations and I am sick and tired of it!

The slide is in good shape and the filter itself is 3 years old if anyone would like that.

22 years? WOW! I'd say you got your moneys worth out of it.

we did really good. The pool, deck wood and electrical service came to 5,000. I installed the pool and designed and built the deck. The back yard will look a little odd without it there.

Pile up some boulders to drive over and it'll look just fine

You don't need to send me any more pix, I'm in on the wood.

I still have a 2F, 4spd and t-case sitting in my garage. The 2f is desmogged, has a Holley carb and some sort of header. No idea if it runs but it turns over. $100 get it out of my garage! I also have 2 sets of 60 axle housings I'd let go for cheap.
