Anyone have a set of 18” OEM 100 series wheels they are looking to unload?

I have some wheels....I was told they are 17” when I picked them up, but someone else said they looked like they were 18”. How are wheels measured? Outside lip to outside lip? The pic below had the tape measure on the outside of the other side of the wheel.

5 lug off a 100...but I don’t have the caps or lugs. I have 4 wheels.

It should have stamp on the inside showing the size. I’m actually looking for these...

The story?

Despite the unfortunate respray, the pics make me think it may be a solid truck. Somebody should go check it out.

This is the same truck. The backstory is he went through some times with a now former spouse and their are different financial circumstances in play these days. He is an honest dude, the truck needs a brake job and exhaust right away. I drove it for a day or two. The interior is good for it's age, the electric windows all work, radio, A/C. He is just not a LC enthusiast like we are. Bought it as a weekend looker for that feeling of nostalgia and listening to the dead while cruising around on sunny Sundays. Any work he has had done is been done in a shop. Its a solid truck that drives well and could be a great kept as a weekend truck with minimal investment or would be a nice platform to build from. The repaint is probably a 5.5/10 Good from far, but far from good.

The holy grail of LC wheels. My favorite as well. I am headed back to 16s at some point for more sidewall flex while offroad. ;<)

I know the owner as well. Good guy.

Free 100 series running boards, I took them off my rig just because i don't like them, currently at CRR this weekend if you're here and want them or are close you're welcome to them.

I've been in touch with him.
Was planning to post up here this evening, as I'll likely pass on it since I don't have a good way to get it to Durham.

Currently not running, and he knows nothing about it. Estate sale truck. Here are some additional photos and info he'd passed along.

Before it was parked 6 months ago the engine was running. 230k miles, No visible rust.

Says leather interior, but I haven't seen a photo yet.

Perfect for a roller, looks like a full floater in the rear.

Does anyone have a good front Differential for a 100 series, preferably 4 pinion (the 2 pinion gave out)? Dickie Bell claimed mine today.

Doh... all 98-99 hundos buying guide line one should be put an ARB/TJM locker in the front to get rid of that weak housing. Or at least before doing anything more than your standard "overlanding" trip or lots of snow and ice driving. TJM was the first thing I bought for mine.

Feel you pain there dude. There are a few 100's parting out in the classifieds section of mud.

Just remember you want a 2000-2002. The 03 and up drop from a 4.30 to a 4.1

I appreciate it. That’s what I’m looking for. I will look into the TJM too.

FREE 4 speed tranny, I believe it is a H42, someone correct me if I'm wrong. Maybe someone can use it, I just need for it to be gone. Otherwise I will send it off to the scrapper next week.

I have posted this on IH8MUD classifieds and Toyota Land Cruiser Classified on Facebook. I have made the decision to offer it for sale for two reasons, weight reduction and returning the 40 back to its FST original condition. The hard top is in excellent condition.

I have decided to sell my hardtop and go back to a soft top as the 40 was when it was first built. Here is what has been done to the hard top.

Fiberglass cap has had two layers of fiberglass added to repair small cracks and sprayed with single stage urethane paint, bright white. There were two coats of a high build primer added to fill any pin holes left from the new fiberglass
The interior portion of the cap has been sprayed white to match the exterior
The rain gutter is new from CCOT and coated with anti-rust coating
The rain gutter has been riveted to the cap with rivets from CCOT
There is a new gasket between the rain gutter and the sides
The rear hatch has new gaskets
New gasket at the top of the windshield
There are new gaskets between the top and tub
All rusty areas were cut out and repaired
There are new gaskets around all the window glass
The hatch was quite rusty but that has been cut out and fully repaired
The exterior of the top has been painted with single stage semi-gloss black urethane paint with the interior painted to match
All glass in the top is original I believe
New gas struts were added to the hatch
I will supply all the necessary hardware to attach it to the tub
The top came off of a 1974 FJ40 and will fit the later models well. I believe the windshield on my 1970 FJ40 might be a little taller which makes the fit a little higher in the front
Asking $3500.00 ONSC $3250.00 I believe that the top is plug-and-play unless a color change is needed.

Steel doors:
All rusty areas have been cut out and repaired
The inside of both doors were sprayed with POR 15
The glass is original in the driver’s door and a replacement pane in the passenger
New weather stripping on both doors
New weather stripping on the wind wings
New felt glass track in both doors
Painted with a single stage urethane paint inside and outside
The interior handle on the passenger side is missing
New door interior latches from SOR
All new stainless steel hardware
Doors came off of a pre-1973 FJ40 and were in rough shape when purchased
Asking $1500.00 ONSC $1250.00 I believe they doors are plug-and-play unless a color change is needed

Questions and inspections are welcomed. Additional photos of the doors and top before and during restoration also available on request.
