Bought this shackle kit, which included spring pins, from Cruiser Corps for $240 brand new. These are stock height shackles and are greasable. I installed them on my 40 for about 3-4 weeks, with only a few miles on them after installation. They did not fit appropriately with my aftermarket lift springs, so I switched to regular shackles. So, they are essentially brand new, maybe 25 miles on them! I kept the spring pins, so just the 4 shackles and bolts are for sale. I recommend these for someone with stock springs. I'm thinking $150 plus $15 shipping, CONUS only. Payment via PayPal. PM me if interested. I'm in NC if someone wants to pick them up or meet nearby (Hillsborough area).

i have a set of non-locked front/rear fj80 axles? the FF rear does have an aussie locker, factory gearing. for sale or trade.
DUDE, I need a bunch of parts from that rear axle. Willing to part with the brakes?

I will be removing my Weber 32/36 carb and going back to Stock Aisan. I need to start collecting the parts as funds are available. I am looking for an Air Cleaner Assembly that will work for a 78 FJ40 and a Stock Aisan carb that is rebuildable.

In two weeks I will have a rebuilt 2bbl aisin carb ( Toyota parts ) along with another aisin carb worth of spare parts. Ran beautifully without an intake leak
Actually, I'll have all of the Toyota driveline parts for sale. The air cleaner may work on your 40 as well

I have nothing but time. i don't anticipate going back to stock until early next summer. I am just going to start getting the parts together. What is the stuff off of?
'87 FJ60. Parts carb is off of an 85 or 86 FJ60 IIRC.
from my limited knowledge. I think that year FJ60 carb and aircleaner wont work on the 78 FJ40 2F. I think its too high or mounts slightly different. Maybe some other members will chime in.
