Not 100% sure, but I would assume if they offered them in the later model 40's then the 55's would be the same...
Anyone know if that tuffy console will fit a 40 with stock seats? Guys is getting me dimentions tonight. Thinks it's 11" wide? Seems too wide?

Just guessing, but I suspect it would be too big.
I think ours for the 40's are like either 7 or 8 inches wide.
Got one at the house right now that goes in a 40. If you want i can measure it for you.
Ramon has the large console in his 40 with aftermarket seats pretty tight. I have the smaller one 7 inch with aftermarket seats and its perfect

You might want to check the thread i started about the auction im going to in the morning - the volumes of stuff are overwhelming - I know I saw 16s..If you give me a price youre willing to pay, I can store some here until we figure out how to get them to you...unless, of course - youre looking for an excuse to come out to the beach!

The 6 1/2" is the one that will fit with factory seats. I think you can squeeze the 8" in there but it doesn't leave room for the seat belt buckles. CCOT and I think Tuffy direct makes the mounting bracket. The 8" fits the 60 series.

still have the 1972 fj55 (not running, see previous post in this thread for pics and more details) for $800 and 1987 2F Engine/Tranny/Tcase for $700 or I will sell those separately if you need just the t case or tranny

I've decided to sell a few things to simplify my life a little.
03 f250 "Black Betty" 6.0 diesel 171k in great shape. Centennial edition fully loaded. $12.5k
82 fj60 "Sandy" 176k in good shape. 4" lift on 35" km2's geared 4.56 with rear lockrite and front lsd locker. Great for expedition style build. Minimal rust spots on the body easy to fix. Needs ac compressor and fuel tank. $6500.
18ft heavy duty trailer with diamond plate deck. 10.5k# capacity and can haul equipment as well as cars and trucks. Ramps have been reinforced to handle heavy machinery and a receiver mounted to allow winch on the front. $2000
