Thanks for the extra pic, much appreciated - it has a great stance. So wheel new diameter just a tiny bit larger?
I'm looking at the 08-11 lx570 and this is direction I'll go too especially seeing yours and this wheel/tire combo.

Well, the 'wheel' is the same diameter, but the 'tire' diameter is a tiny bit larger. (I know what you meant, but clarified for sake of this public forum.)

There is the SLIGHTEST of wheel rub on the front mud flaps. It's only occasional, usually in LO setting, and so slight it's almost not worth mentioning. I have no regrets.

Yes, good clarification. Good to know on the rub.

A few photos from Moab. We took Klondike bluffs trail into Arches NP where we connected to Tower Arch trail and Eye of the whale. Those were very fun and scenic trails.

View attachment 2813743Not the best shot but I just picked it up yesterday. ‘19 CPO with 16k on the clock.

I don't think I've seen a newer 570 in black. And definitely not from this angle. Looks fantastic - I really like it.

Over the last 4-5 years I've come to really appreciate stock look & feel of some vehicles, and the LX is in that list. There is something about the stock look of many vehicles which is just... right. (Almost as if a lot of time and money was spent on coming up with that look by people who know what they're doing.) Stock doesn't always fit our needs, but it sure looks the part.

Thank you. I appreciate it. I have always wanted a LC, and when I learned they stopped making them for the US it was a bummer. Then, when I got the itch I just happened to find this one. Meant to be I guess.

Anyone in the Fort Collins area know how to put on arb front and rear or dissent rear? I have 2011 lx570.
you can do it!

A few of you have asked about my front grille color scheme...

Everything was painted (by me). Just some AZone paint. When I bought the truck, I had to take the front bumper off to chase a few broken brackets. While I had the bumper off, I took the grille apart (everything snaps together, a few phillips screws) and also removed the fog light covers (they were broken...notice how they are screwed back in from the outside?). Anyway, the silver grille was painted matte black (green dots). I hand sanded the chrome strips (they clip in) and painted them a dark graphite (red dots). The bottom grille portion was painted with the same scheme.

The fog light covers were hand sanded and initially painted matte black. But then I did several light coats of the graphite over them. I think it was simply because I ran out of paint and used what I had.

The roof rack is the Land Cruiser version. They are OEM black, a few inches longer, and have 3 support legs on each side (opposed to the LX with 2 legs each).

Friend picked up a cruiser after seeing the capability of mine over so many trips. Nicely built '99, with factory rear locker (last year cruisers were offered with one). His first trip out and he couldn't be happier.
