Talk about a problematic child seat hauler...........

Yeah, let me clear that up. She would keep the Pilot, get rid of the FJ and replace it with(insert ridiculous small car of choice). That means I would have to drive the damn thing when she had the kids. Never going to happen.

In my case, ridiculous small car of choice is a Honda Insight Hybrid at 43 MPG combined driving. Well, and I still have the FJ obviously.

Talk to me when you buy a smart car and let me know if it's worth it. I'm not opposed to great gas mileage I just don't see myself cruising the streets in something of that design.

yeah saving gas is great, but is it worth driving around in a tiny piece of plastic with squirl under the hood. I can't imagine the crash tests were that good either.

... If it was up to my wife we would have a Fiat 500 in our driveway or worse a smart car.

Just get the Smart car and mount it on a roof-rack on top of your FJ. Lady can ride up top... Best of both worlds!

My Insight is the ugliest car on the road. It's actually sort of peppy though. Quicker than you'd think.

It's funny though. The engine will shut down at a red light. But then it comes back alive after about 30 seconds. It's like someone with sleep apnea who starts breathing again. :skull:

here was an interesting image I found for a smart car.

Smarts have absolutely no cargo space beyond two or three shopping bags - can't even get a fully packed roller bag behind the back seat, let alone a suitcase :bang:

and, the auto trannies in them suck donkey ballz

just my 0.02 cents collected from rental Smarts

Thanks! I just saw the picture on TLCA.org because I haven't gotten my new TT in yet.

What was it?

Only read the caption, but it's a pic with Mikes passenger front wheel in the air and a strap hanging off the front bumper

Well at least you got the bumble bee in. Were you really stuck or just needed a tug

Thanks Cody Sent from my iPhone using IH8MUD
