alkaline,

Usually a complete set comes with lights, harness(es), relay, and a switch.
Some vehicles already come pre wired into the cabin which makes it a little easier, but I don't believe that is the case with the 80 in North America.

Adam,

Thanks for your interest!
Let me know the exact type of lights that you're interested (Post #) and I can confirm the availability.

THANKS!

Mot

I've posted the instruction for one version of the lights on Page 7 of this thread.

Let me know if I need to elaborate anymore (Not sayin' I would be able to though! :hillbilly:)

Kind of off the track, but I was checking my inventory I realized that I have WAY too much inventory.

So.... the yellow, multi-reflector Koito's gotta go!

If you have even remotely thought about getting a pair of quality fog lights, this is the chance. I'm going to clear them out for $59US, plus shipping.

I can send them for $30 (slowboat) or $60 (express air).

Let me know if you or anybody you know would take them off of my hands.:D

THANKS!

Mot :)

The amber Koito's that I'm clearing do not come with any harness or anything else other than what you see in the pics.

actually same post #67 with pull switches if you got em..
If it is the Post #67 from this thread then they're the Hella FF1000 HID driving lights.
I'm also trying to unload them for a great price :hillbilly: of $600US/pair/shipped.

You can not even touch them at that price at any other places, but I have only two pairs of them.

ANYWAY, I know even at the discounted price it is still a lot of coin for most of us, including myself.

Let me know if you want to proceed with either one with the switch (asking $49US currently, btw) I can PM you the payment info.

THANKS!

Thanks Mot

Got the old fogs mounted up and thanks to Mot for supplying the brackets and switch. Reversed the brackets to position the lights so they would be protected as much as possible from brush and trees.

I noticed that the fluted glass lense does not appear to be totally sealed when affixed to the housing. Do they leak? If so, has anyone found or made a gasket that will help?

Your truck looks pretty spiffy!

As for the potential leakage, why don't you dip it into a bucket of water or something and see what happens.:hillbilly:

I guess if in doubt, you can always caulk them.

Thanks again for getting the brackets and the switch!

Got my lights a couple weeks ago MOT, thanks so much, wife said they were packaged escellent!!!

Thanks
Roberto

Roberto,

I know that I was going to slowboat it, but I could not get them out on time and that I was able to send them a bit lighter and not that much more than originally planned, so I went ahead and express-aired them. I hope you don't mind.;)

Thanks again for giving me a chance!

OEM Fog Light Covers

I've got these Toyota Land Cruiser fog light covers from, who else?, Toyota.:D

These were meant for the 190mm Bosch fog lights that graced some of the 80's in Japan (optional). I've tried them on the smaller Koito's I have listed elsewhere in this thread (Sorry for the bad lighting in the first two pics:hillbilly:) :

OK, since these are not the covers designed for these particular fogs they're not as "snug" as they could be.

So there's a little slack, but you can either overlook it or shorten the straps or whatever you wanna do with it.:D

It's not going to flap around or fly away or anything though.:hillbilly:

And these covers should fit fog lights that are similar in size (190mm diameter), but your mileage might vary, depending on the size of the stone guard, the shape of the back of the housing, etc...

ANYWAY, let me know if any of you are interetsed in putting these on your OEM or non-OEM fog lights.

As always, thanks for looking!

Hey guys!

I'm going to try to reduce my inventory of the fog lights in the upcoming months via going to e-bay.

If you've seen them for sale there you know that these prices that I've been offering are more than fair. ;)

I've got several that I have not bothered posting pics of, so if there are any particular types that you like that are shown "Sold" it wouldn't hurt to ask!

You will see them in my e-bay link in my sig line when they're there.

Let me know if I can help any of you who might have been sittin' on the fence until now!

THANKS!!

Mot :)

Old Timers...

I was contacted by a Mudder concerning a pair of my Toyota old timer fog lights, so I thought I would update on what I've got right now (Haven't resorted to e-bay on these yet. :hillbilly:):

As you can see, these are used in fair condition.

It does come with the mounting brackets, but does not have a switch or harness. If you need the old "pull style" switch, I would be happy to get one for you. ;)

I'm going to ask $75, plus shipping for them. ;)

However, I'll consider any offer, reasonable or otherwise. :hillbilly:

Another pair like the ones above, but maybe not quite as clean. ;)

And again, don't be afraid to make an offer. :hillbilly:
