This is a pair like those in the post #195, but handicapped by not having the mounting brackets and harness, but does come with the pull switch.

I'm attaching a close-up pic of where the mounting bracket "should have" attached (and still shoud!! :hillbilly:)

That said, although these are new I'm going to ask $75 for what you see in the pics.

Let me know if that's a good enough deal. If not, well... you know what you do by now, right?

Make me an offer!

Thanks!!

Hang 'em low!

Not sure if these can be monted the right side up or the up side down, but here's a pair that were meant to be mounted below the bumper.

I think it is "physically" possible to mount them above the bumper by simply flipping the lights, the right (or the wrong :hillbilly:) side up.

I know that some fog lights can be mounted either above or below the bumper with no difference in the light pattern, but I can not comment on this particular model.

Since the lights do not say "Toyota" on them, you can mount them on your Taurus or Accord or something. :hillbilly:

They sure look purty though, don't they? :D

$125, plus shipping, O.B.O. :)

Thanks for looking!

This is a new pair of the ones you saw above, comes in the original box (Not probably that you would keep the box anyway.)

$175, plus shipping for these guys.

Just one more to post this time around!
Thanks for your patience as I load these up (Not that you guys are waiting for me to post, but I though I'd sound like a nice guy or something! :flipoff2:)

And finally....

A new (more like never been used :hillbilly:) "TOYOTA" pair.
Comes with everything you see in the pics, including the pull switch and the mounting brackets.

I will clean them up before shipping, so they should look pretty bad-ass on your rig. :D

I don't think I need to remind you that none of the old-school pairs that I have are available from Toyota anymore.

ANYWAY, $295 plus shipping on these, just because of their rarity. :grinpimp:

Thanks again for looking!

Damn Mot- if I wasnt trying to reduce my cruiser debt I would be all over these. Hopefully you will have them in a few months. I have to pay for my rear bumper first.

Don't worry, I'm sure I will... ;)

Not by choice though. :hillbilly:

Thanks for the encouraging words. ;)

Mot, it's hard to tell what is and isn't for sale anymore, any chance you could start a new thread with your current stock?

Hey Doc!

That's probably not a bad idea!

I think I've got quite a few pairs of lights, as well as several laddders for the 60/80/100.
I'll try to start a thread or two in the Merchandise Storefront section maybe!

Thanks for the suggestion, Eric!

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!

Mot :)

Mot,
For those of us who are scared that we might nor find the new thread could you post up a link to it here. Thanks,
John

John,

Sure thing!

I haven't determined how I'm going to go about it just yet.

The problem I have is that my inventory is going up, instead of down!
I've been trying to reduce it but I just cannot seem to do that very effectively. (I just picked up a few more pairs.) I guess I'm not cut out to be a good sales/business man. :hillbilly:

I just might list what I've got on this thread, but might start a thread in the Merchandise Storefront section for those lights that I would like to let go, even at lower than my asking prices, maybe even one pair at a time (And putting them up on e-bay simultaneously, maybe).

Regardless of what ends up happening, I'll keep you posted on this thread!

Thanks again for your interest!

Mot :)

Mot, you need a web page... maybe something like...hu....hum....motscrap.com? :D:D :D

Hope you have a good holiday! -Mark

Mark,

LOL!!

I'll have to check and see if that domain name's been taken. :hillbilly:

I got some work done yesterday/today with the newly acquired lights and the 80's ladders today! (Took pics and got the specs on the awesome aftermarket lights!)

I'm hoping that the new ladder thread will be up tomorrow in the merchandise storefront section tomorrow, as well as the lights.

I guess there are some fairly simple web page design programs out there, eh?

Happy Holiday to you too, Mark!

Now print more shirts that people have been bugging you about already!!! :hillbilly:

Mot,
In that case I'd suggest that you keep everything on this thread and just do a "holiday round up" showing folks the current inventory that you have and state any promotional or sales prices that you are offering to get rid of old stock. There are enough guys like me who are interested but a little confused regarding what you still have for sale. Thanks,
John

John,

WOW!!
Time flies even when you're lazy!!!:hillbilly:

I have not done much about these lights, but have done something that actually makes the situation worse by acquiring more lights!:doh::doh:

Not sure if any of you saw, but posted some lights in the Merchandise Storefront section.

I have not decided how to go about the rest of them, but I am leaning toward having one thread in that section with one pair/set of lights for sale at the same time. I'll probably put them up on e-bay at the same time for one week or so.

They will not have a reserve price and I will post the next pair after the auction ends (or the Mud price(s) is/are met).

I need to sharpen my salesmanship skills for sure!!! :o

Thanks for your patience and understanding!

I'll try to post the additional pairs later.
In the meantime, I'll have to decide what I'm going to do with the other sets I've been sitting on and will let you know, I hope!! (But don't hold your breath!:hillbilly:)

Mot,
Ok here is my deal. My son is traveling in Japan at the moment and has kindly offered to help his Dad out by meeting up with you and bringing back a set of your lights if we can cut a deal. So I have now gone back through all of the posts in your thread and here is what I am looking for:

I need a price on a set of OEM toyota fog lights, clear textured lenses, black backing with the black rock guards and white lettering as depicted in post #10 and possibly #121.

Similarly I need a price on a set of Koito driving lights, clear textured lenses, black backing with black rock guards, it would be nice if you had some with the white Toyota lettering for these. I think that post #132 are the driving lights. Again I'm not sure from the description but in any event they should look like post #121.

Please also include a price for an OEM harness and one of your pull switches for a 40 series as well.

Lastly, a question, are the bulbs replaceable on the OEM fog lights? Same question for the Koito driving lights.
Thanks,
John

I'm out of the clear textured lenses for the fogs that are like #10 and #121

#10 #121

I have the black and amber though if that works for you! :hillbilly:

The ones pictures in #132 are HID spots, using real ballasts, etc..., with narrow (and far) beam pattern.

They're the same model lights as the previous Dakar Rally winning LC100's have used and are made by Koito, but do not have "TOYOTA" on them.

And although most of my stuff is here that particular set is at my American headquarters. :hillbilly:

Most of the lights I have are just the lights alone ($225/new), but I have a few sets that came with factory wiring, relay, etc... for $295 (new).

The thing is, the vehicles that these Toyota fog lights were intended for (Land Cruiser, 4Runner, RAV4, etc...) already had in cabin wiring leading upto behind the dash for (relatively) easy installation.

What that means to most of you is that even if you got a complete kit/set you'll still have to come/fab up the wiring that your vehicle did not come with from the factory. I hope that makes sense!

BTW, I still have a couple of the pull switches left and the price has not changed.

The factory "TOYOTA" fog lights use the H3 type of bulb and are replaceable. Same with the Koito HID's (or if you meant the Koito-made, smaller "TOYOTA" fog lights, with multi-reflector design, then their bulbs can be replaced as well.)

I hope at least some of this makes some sense, but if they don't please let me know!

Where in Japan will your son be coming from?
I'm between Tokyo and Nagoya. My city (Hamamatsu) has the bullet train (shinkansen) stop and I would be happy to meet him there if he can specify the date/time (Granted if I'm available at that time: Days are better than nights for me at the moment!)

ANYWAY, thanks again for your interest!

I do have a couple of very good used H4 fog/driving or driving/spot lights by Koito (with 110/85w gold iridium bulbs) and PIAA (135/90w)that I have acquired. But they do not have "TOYOTA" on them.

This is what they look like below (The Koito lights were the same version that were used in the Dakar Rally before they developed the HID model! :hillbilly:)

BTW, WARN wants almost $1200 for the HID's, but I'm only asking $450 less than that! :hillbilly: Here's the spec page. So what are you guys waiting for? :grinpimp: ;)

Here's the link to spec of the H4 ones that I've mentioned above.

I had another pair that I had acquired at the same time as I did those Koito's and PIAA's that looked like these.

But they've just been sold to a Mudder who have contacted me and asked me if I could get him a pair of different type/brand of lights, but ended up happily taking these instead. :hillbilly:

They have the 100w H3 driving light and 120w H3 fog in one housing (metal housing/reflector, with glass lense).

These PIAA's are from the era when PIAA still manufactuered great lighting!

I wasn't thinking about posting prices on these lights, but both the Koito's from #337 and the PIAA's in #338 can be had for $125/pair, plus shipping.

I think these are GREAT lights at even better prices!!! (You know I'm not just saying that! :grinpimp:)

I've got more cool lights coming w/in the next week, so please keep en eye on this thread! (Hey, whatever happened to starting a new thread? :hillbilly:)

BTW, the wattage that I have indicated on the above posts are of the actual wattage and not of the 55w=130w garbage they use these days. ;)
