2 questions,

#1 Are there still OEM fenders still available for sale?

#2 Will FJ62 fenders work on an HJ61?

Looking into a restore of the body on Stoffel and it might be easier/cheaper to replace the fenders as opposed to repair. Thoughts??

I'm not 100% sure if OEMs are still available. I would think not, but guys make some incredible discoveries from time to time.

A 62 fender should work, but I think if you want to stay true to a restore, you'll have to patch up the side vent holes.

Your best bet is to find a donor... but good luck finding a rust free 61.

I'm interested to find out if these fenders are still available too, I'll be watching this thread.

I am also interested to know as well. I removed a snorkel the PO had installed; now I have a hole, lol. Sooo I need to replace the front PS fender.

Donor parts will be best least expensive option.

I highly doubt OEM fenders are available. I would go the rust free used option. I bought a pair of HJ61 fenders(even had the fender flares) for when I do a body restore/rust fix.

Hey @Mr Tibbs , did you check with Maarten at cruiser world in the Netherlands? I bet he can source one from an HJ61. :)
