Finally did this. Ruff Stuff box with plastic spacer for bolt heads

And added in a few fuse boxes and a circuit breaker to tidy everything up

@James C How thick is the plastic spacer? I guess same as bolt head. Also, did you make it or purchase?

I made it out of 1/2" thick cutting board. I'm a bit concerned with it potentially melting, but I'll check on it after the next long drive. You still going to Pismo next weekend?

Very high likelihood I'll be at Pismo. Let's connect there.

To make my odyssey battery fit, I just stuck two short 2x4s on the bottom to make the OEM battery hold down clamp work. :):):frown::frown:
I want something a bit less podunk and makeshift. So your solution seems perfect, and affordable.

Well at least 2x4's don't melt but they could catch on fire! Maybe just use a few 1/2" aluminum bars

I didn’t go this route because I was concerned with static electricity. Who knows neither static or melting may ever be an issue.

How is everybody liking the 34R battery? I need a new battery and see the Odyssey is highly recommended. The info on the battery box is very helpful.
