I finally got some updated pics. The roof structure is all fixed up but it looks like a PO did some modifications to the windshield area that will need to be fixed.

Any LV owners able to give some measurements on the windshield opening?

Dang Charles, that parts LV that I sold Joe with the other one had a perfect front / windshield and firewall section... Its long gone but when I see stuff like that it refreshed my memory...

coulda, woulda, shoulda...

Apparently this one has rolled at some point in it's life. I really wouldn't be surprised if it has rolled more than once seeing how folks drive in some of these countries.

We'll see if Paul gets this done in time for me to get it in April. If not, it could be a while.

More "surprises" that are being found or "What an inch of bondo can hide!"

The nice straight windshield frame, the pristine "A" pillars (all said with tongue firmly in cheek).

Trying to see if I can get this LV finished but Paul Pilgrim, who I left the LV with, is MIA along with all the bits to put this together! I have found the truck and chassis along with the doors but no other bits yet.

Anyone have LV bits they don't need any longer or an LV which is beyond hope in the rust department?

Well, something is better than nothing, is the motor missing as well?

No, I believe all that is there (engine, tranny, axles etc.). It's all the other bits that are missing.

saw one on ebay.

here is the number 406) - 698 - 0764

Just read thru this entire thread only to see this at the end?!?

Unbelievable - has anything changed since the last post in 10/2013?

I am at a loss for words
