My steering sounded like two cats masticating. Or atleast having sex.
Mattmapping told me to put some fabric softener in to swell the seals and lube the system.
And it nearly instantly stopped the noise.
I poured about half a cup in. I ain't skeared.

Had to pick up an IronPig skid like this'n...



Just gotta find time to install it.

Also threw in a new LSPV last week and fixed a powersteering hose leak by putting a new clamp on the end. And whadaya know, the dang xfer case starts leaving it's mark! So I fix two leaks and gain another!

Oh yeah, and now getting a CEL code 21, Oxygen Sensor. Gone try to pull the sensors and clean'em...

Got me some 35 KM2's from a woman! LOL. These was Debbie's off of Bessie. Bessie gone git some KO2's as soon as they available.
 
We used to dick around when I was younger and see who had the lowest gears like that. We would all put ours in 4low and let them crawl along with no driver to see who is the slowest. I would cheat against the jeeps in my taco and have the e brake slightly pulled... Haha only for 10-20 feet so no worry.


I miss the outdoor areas around Bham. Especially behind the met. It's been ten years since I have been out there. Fun places to explore. Good looking land cruiser.

LOVE your area!... in the summer... not so much the winter. LOL! When I lived in Seattle, we'd go up there a lot. The islands and Vancouver.
 
Never been to your part of the woods, looks pretty dense and green, wheeling good? Washington is very simular to Van Isl..

screw this. I've had a s***ty day and then I came home hoping I could salvage it with putting in my new O2 sensors only to find the damned plugs are not the same. So I say Fxxx it and cut the wires and crimped them to the OEM plug.

Now I not only still have the 21 code... but gained a 28 code. It asterisks out the curse words so I'll say Fxxx THIS FxxxING s***!
