Got the header, manifold and carb all bolted up. The two manifold bolts for the ends that SOR sent me didn't fit. Will keep looking for those, but I figure this will do to see if it cranks. If so, gonna pull it all off anyway to get the header coated.

All I'm lacking is a battery and routing the fuel lines. Might just try her out tomorrow.

Don't a couple of you guys have the weber carb? I'm having trouble figuring out the plumbing.

Namely the three spots below:

Second pic is obviously fuel, but why two hose nipples here??

First and third are vacuum type stuff I'm sure, but routed to where? Mud search on my phone sucks, so I figured I would just ask.

Got the 'hey you are only about 2-3 weeks out' call from my body guy. So after finishing on the 100 I started getting everything ready and organized for the trip to the body shop.

Decided I'm gonna leave the top and rear doors alone for now, good future project after she is up and running.

I am still in desperate need of a non-rusted tranny hump cover. Been searching for months, no luck at all....if anybody comes across one in good shape (no rot) please buy it and I will buy from you plus a little extra for the trouble!

Yes sir. If you look close you can see through the yellow one in a couple spots. I've asked for more detailed pics, will post.

After at least 12 hours of working on and troubleshooting the stock ignition system, I'm ready to give up. Get a VERY weak spark at the plug (barely visible), no matter what we do.

Have double and triple checked, looks like we're wired up correct.

Has anyone here used the performance distibutor DUI?

I'm mainly wondering about the fit...the unit that came with my 40 from Rob looked a lot like this, and didn't really fit without modifying some of the heater components.

Looking for some more advice before I go spend (another) $500...
 
Lots of people run that Dist. I think you have to modify something to make it fit. Don't know that but I seem to recall that being the case. Call them.
 
Mike -- had help with finding TDC and doing install. It is from performance and is a great off the shelf drop in Andy. I did remove the bolt holding the hard line part of the heater hose and never got around to rerouting it. Mike you may want to get some flex hose and go around it like the above.
