These sh*t stains need to go away for a very long time. There are real estate fraud reports about Micheal taking people for hundreds of thousands dollars, Home renovation scams, Multiple electric vehicle scams and they are now claiming it took so long to get their 79 truck approved that they designed their own EPA testing equipment that is so in demand that you'd be crazy not to invest now( hurry send us your money now before the opportunity ends) 1000% investment returns offered.

:rofl: He claims to have started TruGreen/Chemlawn, a company that (according to itself) started in 1973 in Troy, MI? If there's any truth there, it's that the guy he sold it to bought a TG/C franchise. Which means he is either lying (by intentionally misrepresenting) or has no actual understanding of how business works. o_O

So. . .more of the same.

Awesome, I'll defibitely stop by, I wonder if this is a real booth or a "booth" like their non-existent SEMA "booth".

You picking me up on the way? I'd sure love to meet the Papps, see an LC79, and learn how to install a suspension!

But for reals, picking me up on the way...? :D

It's not really on the way but get close and yes I've got room for you! Don't want to miss a chance to hunt for the Papps! We didn't catch them at SEMA, maybe we'll have better luck at Expo.

Cant vouch personally for these guys but worth a look if youre in the market.

I’m not sure why you’d link them if you have no personal experience with them. Why not just post a link to google.com? Or eBay?

There are guys on here, such as @SteveJackson, that have imported Land Cruisers countless times. That is whom I would trust.

I think everyone here has the capability, on their own, to find gumtree or eBay or whatever other site.

@AUStoUSA is also a member here.

Correct. A nonpaying, non supporting vendor, member.

I support those that support us. I know the exchange rate sucks from Oz to the US but $20/year for a silver star...

Continuing to report what I've seen and heard...

I traveled to Colorado Springs a few days ago and met John Papp. Amicable fellow. Handed over the keys to the 79 within minutes allowing me to take it for a quick drive by myself.

He feels things are progressing well with the EPA. I have a few outstanding questions to him regarding our conversation that I'm waiting to hear back about--NHTSA, DOT stuff.

Additional statements:
"My brother came up with the LC America idea"
"My brother has nothing to do with LC America"
"My brother is his own worst enemy"
"And yes, our father started Lawn Spray Company in Califon, NJ and we were bought out by Tru Green / Chem Lawn"

Flame away...

"My brother has nothing to do with LC America"

That's so weird that he keeps saying that. Since Mike Papp clearly thinks he's intimately involved in LC America. No news on the lawsuit against them?

Nice Jason!

You have proved they actually have one.

All the BS aside, was it your first drive in a 79? If so how did you like it?

Cheers

I actually had a ride in this truck several months back when it was first here in Colorado. It was at a vendor's shop awaiting beadlocks and the vendor took me for spin. This was my first time driving one, and meeting John Papp.

Fun truck for sure. It was a quick drive around the industrial park so I didn't stretch it's gears too much but turbo diesel V8? Yes please!
