With some monstaliner (Thanks to @jcardona1) it came out as such:

And just before the monstaliner I threw in some Corbeau Trailcat seats along with a Tuffy center console. The stock driver seat had a tear, recline knob broke off, and the seat just didn't go back far enough for me. I hated the stock center console so it was an easy decision.

Im digging these seats. Nice lot of work to make em fit???

Do you have more information about those seats? How did they bolt up?

Honestly, they are okay at best. They are comfortable and I love the looks but one big thing bugs me, the back isn't as solid as i'd like. Like the back of the seat is springy, which is kinda understandable since they are supposed to be up against a roll cage with harnesses but still it shouldn't be this springy.

Just got my navigation setup installed on a ram mount, now I can watch movies while I drive ;)

Also stopped by Adventure Ready this morning (expo shop in Seattle). My good friend Haans works there and is going to get my set up with his old dual battery system along with some extra custom electrical goodies and my sPod.

Also I need opinions. Rip out the rear seat and have full length drawers/sleeping platform? Or leave rear seat and have the drawers in the back, fold down the seat for sleeping? I rarely have more than one other person riding with me but I can't decide if those few times more than one would ride with me is worth keeping the seat or not

Ill tell ya, I just built rear drawers to fit PERFECT in the way back, then I ripped em apart and made them work with a fridge slide I built and now that Im heading out for an overland trip Im looking at that back seat thinking same exact thing. no rear, strap down storage boxes hard call.

So much more storage available if I take them out... and a more comfortable sleeping platform

Ill also say for all the tents bags acks I carry I always find myself kicked back in drivers for the night, But I am buying ether the stealth clamtop RTT or baroud from a guy here on the forum, so that should change things, but the back seat is nice and square killer for stacking without the seat and yea for a platform hell yea. just throw the back seat in your living room, like I will. lololol

I pulled my rear seats couple years ago because I rarely have more then one other person in my ride, gives my dogs more room in the back when I'm loaded up. Plus it's easy enough to put them back in , it's only 8 bolts

If I pull mine they are being thrown out, don't have room to keep them around lol but yeah im the say way, hardly ever have more than one person.

Looks Awesome! I too have 4ds.
Nice! If I extended my bumps I could wheel.. kinda. Im itching to get at it

Looks great so far! Did you do anything mechanical to it yet, or is it all cosmetic so far?

We did replace some vacuum lines, radiator, and PCV valve. I added some Lucas Oil power steering leak stop and that fixed the PS pump, andt he whole thing needed a deep cleaning and that was about it so far. Only other mechanical fix I need to do is figure out why the AC isn't working.

Looks great man! This thing is gonna be sweet. What do you anticipate your total cost will be with all of the future and current upgrades?

when you say 4.3 do you mean 4.75 or ? and also what brand are the 3'' spacers thanks for your response ... looking killer !!!

F5

His wheels are a 4.3" backspace. If you're looking for 4.75" BS look at a set of Methods, they sell a lot of 6 lug in that offset. Also fairly certain he ended up with a set of TrailGear spacers.

I need feedback on these seats. I'm looking at these same ones for my 80.

***kk this makes me want to get 40's!!!

As for the back seats i'd say if your not really using them then rip em out! I usually take mine out when i go out on longer wheeling trips more than 2-3 days to make extra room for extra gear, food and other crap. But I'm usually in the vehicle by myself when i do that or maybe have one pass,,, normally on a day to day i need them for the kids or random peeps...
