Well I may or may not have bought some PRP seats...

After I get these mounted the idea is to do something like this for now then later on tie it into a hybrid cage. I figure this will at least give me a little protection just in case and ill be able to run 4 point harnesses

Right now im undecided whether or not to get rid of my drawers in the back. It would save me about 200lbs but its so nice and organized. Eventually ill take out the second row seats and put 2 more buckets.

I really like the PRP seats in my 80. I bought their slides and really like how low they were able to mount. I am 6'2" and they brought me down maybe an inch lower than stock. Highly recommend.

You went with vinyl?

Here is what I have. Different version, but likely much the same inner structure. Have to learn to hop a little to get over the side. I have back issues, and since swapping to these, have not had a sore back after a long day wheeling. Of course the beer helps.

What brackets are you using? I bought Planted Technologies brackets today and hope they fit well. My Corbeau brackets were horrible and didn't fit well at all.

Bad ass! Im so excited to get the seats. Im 6'2 as well and lower back easily starts hurting when wheeling.

I made my own set of brackets, I can pop the seats out and take a picture if the ones you buy don't work well.

Tube doors are done! Badlands mocked them up on my truck off Andrew’s set. PM me if you

Only thig i would say to do, the flate plate up front that the tubes weld to: make it curved to follow the fender. Youll get less mud/rocks/cowpie type stuff flinging into your space. Its just getting that space in between the body and fender. Maybe its enough already, but i tihink it would look better too.

Not to split hairs or be a dick, but are they really a concept when they are a copy the JCB/Marlin ones that were made 9 years ago? I get that JCB/Marlin did not move forward with production due to low interest and hope Badlands does, but those would be the concepts.

I’m not sure if that would clear the fender when you open the door. Maybe I’m imagining it a different way from you.. but also it does cover it some, just the angle of the picture makes it not look like it

Eh kinda hard to say. There are slight differences if you hold the two doors up side by side but not something that really stands out. I think they called it a concept because it’s the first set they made and will make more changes to it.

Is it possible to use those PRP daily driver seats with stock seatbelts?

Well after just shy of 2,000 miles 4/6 of my ballistic joints are blown... Tightened them all up way passed what Ballistic sets them at torque wise and within 50 miles they were all loose again. Ballistics only response thus far is to rebuild them all since they've never had this happen before, apparently. So switching them out to heims.

Ordered Ruffstuff heims but after talking to Jose and a few others I'm going to cancel and go with FK heims.

I also had enduro joints. The spanner ring type which fell apart and destroyed themselves and the snap ring type which are impossible to rebuild from my perspective.

Fk jm or jmx heims and be done.

@northwesttaco - @richardlillard1 has the same joints and hates them. I think @Tools R Us has had to fiddle with them a bunch of times now

Yeah I tightened them once and within 50 miles they all loosened up again so I’m just saying screw it. How ever at I’m going to have to get black out drunk tonight to spend $90/heim
