I don’t recall ever seeing anyone bring up #57 in a thread discussion. But if anyone is interested in making a reproduction of them, I have a few NOS ones in my stash.

The lip is in great shape. Except for the hole (which is on the flat portion and easier to repair) the overall condition is great. How’s the transmission hump? I’m interested. Thanks.
I worked late on it yesterday, going back at it this morning. I will extricate the part and get you a price asap. One more friendly bump, then I’m done hammering your FS ad@kevos37.
Not sure where SOR got their parts info from @65swb45, #57 doesn‘t show up in the ‘65 parts book. There is something shown in the first illustration, but no call out in the parts detail.View attachment 2832323View attachment 2832324
Diatribe over.
I’d also be interested in the transmission hump if the other buyer doesn’t take it.

I would be interested in the steering box.

I put the Box up on the bench and it seems to be frozen up. I still plan to take the lower end off and look at it.
apologies, I have to pass, didn’t know it was so different than my ‘77.I'm asking $100 plus shipping.
Yes that would not work on yours. This fits 65-72
Here is a picture of the steering box. I cleaned off with a scotch bright pad and shot some cleaner on it.
Looks like the cover was cracked.Looking for closeup pics of the outside of the sector roller bearing Kevin.![]()
Can you pull that out and clean it up a bit?
Unfortunately covers get cracked somewhat frequently, by guys who are fed misinformation on the internet about how to adjust the box.
