I am looking to get back into a 80 and this is very, very tempting! Do you have detailed pics of body repair? Paint match? Thanks

Adam

After reading the entire build thread, I am amazed this truck hasn't sold yet.

If I had the luck and patience (to deal with California registering it which I believe is possible), the time (to bring it out here), and the space (I'd need to sell my 40 first), I would be all over it. This truck has basically everything I could want in an 80 series.

Good luck with the sale.

Thanks... the longer I keep driving this thing, the less I want to sell it!

I'll drive it to CA myself if that peaks your interest any :)

I'll put it this way, if you're looking for a show truck, this isn't it. White hides things very well. The paint matches well on the repair, but there are plenty of body blemishes. If it doesn't sell soon it is getting painted desert tan when I take my winter break.

Dude! You are building my dream truck! Black steelies and desert sand paint. Also flare less! I see you took them off too.

It it helps any, I have the "brother" to this truck, with a similar engine and I love mine too. SH I am trying to get a hold of you by PM and E-mail re: computer, thanks!

While tempting, getting rid of my 40 would be the hardest part as there is a lot of emotional equity in that truck, and I cannot guarantee I can make that happen (despite how little I drive it).

Shattered my dreams! Congrats I the sale. Wish it was a mudder so we could see it live its life!

The new owner is an avid Landcruiser enthusiast, this is his 3rd cruiser in his stable. He's a lurker here...

PS - He had no interest in the spare engine or any of the spare parts I have. So if anyone is interested in having one of these trucks built, PM me. Please remember, my business is not a charity :)
