Here’s mine! It’s a 95 with 297xxx miles on it. The previous owner let it sit in the same spot for 4 years. It’s hard to see in the picture but the sun fading turned the blue into a weird purple. Kinda crazy

Did any of these come with the Oak interior?

Yep, in fact I have seen quite a few NS in tan(oak) interior for ‘97 & grey for ‘96 - there are exceptions & I’d only recently learned ‘95 was a NS option year.

Yep, that’s interesting owning a ‘96 on gray and I know for sure the majority of tan I’ve seen were ‘97s.

‘95 with 215k and grey interior. 2.5” OME with 315’s on 17” steelies (1.5” spacers). Bought it a couple years ago as an impulse purchase. The po bedlined the mirrors and fender flares. The paint is toast in most areas especially hood, roof and below windows. At some point, it appears the rear quarters were repainted, oxidized and now is a purpulish color depending on the light. There are days when the toasted paint gets to me, at the same time that makes it a perfect trail and camping truck.

They're all just the perfect trail rigs at the end of the day, aren't they? 40s can be put in the museums. And occasionally I fall in love with a 60 I would hate to damage on a trail.

Your paint looks incredible.

Hmm never noticed the bumper. I guess maybe it was a repaint at some point. To my knowledge it was originally a garage kept Texas truck. It looks incredible in that pic because this was just before I bought it and the previous owner had spent 3.5k on paint correction and ceramic coating.

Still looks great but I ended up with a few scratches as I got stuck out in the tornadoes that came through town and got side swiped by some downed power lines :bang:

Whenever I get a little extra free time/money will take it back to the paint correction shop to hopefully get that fixed

‘96 Nightshadow Pearl, 204k miles, gray interior, factory lockers, OME J, ARB front, 4x4 labs rear, Safari snorkel, 315 KM2’s

@89cruiserfj62 First pic is Trail 75/Walden’s Ridge at Windrock. Haven’t done 21, it looks pretty crazy from videos I’ve seen!

Second pic is at the top of Squid’s Jaunt at Hot Springs Offroad Park.

If you ever consider selling, please let me know. I am looking for a nightshadow cruiser

Surprised I haven't updated this thread.

My original plan changed a little. I ended up skipping the paint step and going to suspension! And I also decided to wheel it a little!

ICON Stage 1 75 mm dual rate springs
ARB Front with side bars and step, yeah they aren't sliders, but I just love the way they look.

Both of my kids have claimed ownership of the Cruiser. Besides, we still have big plans for it: engine rebuild, respray, new leather, etc.. It will be in the family for the next 20 years.

I don't blame you. It's a sweet rig! If for whatever reason things ever do change, please don't hesitate to reach out
