Operation Roof Rack Complete

OK, its done! If you do this project (transplanting an FJ Cruiser rack to one that never had a rack), you will need to purchase the "hardware kit" from Toyota. Pretty simple if you get the kit.

Where is the built in cigar cutter?

It also needs one of those old school ash tray that used to be at the airports. The brushed stainless steel round ones that had the button you pushed and the top opened. I'm also hoping you are going to rplace the seat covers with dark brown leather. Glove box that has been converted into a humidor.

This is a must. I'm hoping you put that rack on so as to give occupants an option of smoking while being outside in the fresh air.

There was some talk on the FJ forum about wrenching those studs and bolts right off. I would not go that tight either. When I took the factory bolts out I could see where you could run into a problem. There was shredded plastic in the studs making it harder to re-install.
