well I swapped mobile radios and so far I can hear on it fine...but not transmit for some reason, even though the mic keys. Don't have time to really explore it ....I'll bring one of the Chinese handhelds... changed headlight lens and bulbs only to find out I need new headlight bezels (don't know if I can get them new anymore or not (plastic portion has went to hell where it sits by the palstic nutserts in the core support...I noticed one of my replacement screws simply dropped to the ground, with nothing stopping it.

I may swap antennas if I get a chance....but I've got to jump off here and go apply for a job, the gov is so nice...they have a job announcement that closes on New Year's eve..right in the middle of the biggest block of vacation that people take...oh well biz as normal at the coal mine. I might not have a chance in hell but I'm going to apply and they can tell me to have a nice day...which I suspect will happen.
